OPPO is known for its camera-centric smartphones. The OPPO F19 Pro 5g looks identical to the F19 Pro. While most of its smartphones are centered on all-around capabilities, it is the company’s F-series that has consistently been developed around camera-centric innovations above anything else. The OPPO F19 Pro+ is definitely the better of the two phones in the series. The device comes with a lightweight build and an attractive display. Additionally, the phone gets 50W fast charging support and 5G connectivity, making it an impressive offering in this segment. However, you can find a similar combination of specifications on phones that are cheaper. Check out Oppo F19 Pro 5g Price in Pakistan in this blog.

Battery Life of Oppo F19 Pro 5g
The OPPO F19 Pro 5g is powered by a 4,310mAh battery, which keeps it going for around a day on normal usage. During my review, I was able to consistently get over a day of heavy use, and nearly two days with moderate to light usage. By the time the smartphone died, I could manage to get over 6.5 hours to 7 hours of screen time, which is impressive. Fast charging with a long-lasting battery is always an excellent combination. This can help improve the overall battery life of the device.
Processor- and graphic-intensive apps drain the battery quickly, but with the disciplined use of such apps and tasks, you get a full day’s on-battery time. Thankfully, the phone comes with a 50W Flash Charge adapter, which charges a completely drained battery to full in less than an hour. The F19 Pro supports OPPO’s Super Dart fast charging that will charge the smartphone with the included 50W adaptor. OPPO also offers a feature with ColorOS 11 called Battery Guard where the smartphone will learn your wake-up times and, if kept for charging in the night, it will keep the phone at 80% charge and bring it to a 100% charge right when you wake up.
OPPO places a huge focus on the camera capabilities for the F19 Pro with its quad rear-camera setup and dual front cameras. Let’s layout the specs – in the back, you have a 48MP main camera with f/1.7 aperture, OV48B sensor, 8MP 119° ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture, and a 2MP macro and a 2MP mono portrait camera with f/2.4 aperture. In the front, you have a 16MP sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The primary sensor works well across light conditions. It captures a good amount of detail without any visible noise or distortion.
Though the sensor captures saturated colors, which might not please everyone, it does not compromise on the dynamic range, highlight, and shadow details. The ultra-wide sensor is good for landscape shots. It works well in good light conditions but struggles in low-light environments. The primary camera offers fast autofocus and quick shutter speed, which means you will be able to capture crisp stills without any haziness. While daylight photos look extremely good, the camera does an average job in low light. With night mode enabled, the camera is able to remove noise and correct the exposure, but photos could look brighter.
Design OPPO F19 Pro 5g
The OPPO F19 Pro 5g sports a 6.43-inch AMOLED screen of a fullHD+ resolution. It is a flat screen with slightly curved edges (not the two-side curved screen) which makes it easy to use, especially with the phone’s gesture-based navigation. Oppo F19 Pro comes with a curved rear panel with a matte finish. However, instead of a rough feel, the rear panel has a smooth finish that makes it feel just a touch more premium. The screen leaves reasonable bezels at the top and on sides, and a fairly large one at the bottom. The phone comes in Fluid Black and Space Silver.
Due to the matte finish, the phone will not attract any fingerprints or smudges. The bottom bezel is a distraction, but not if you use the phone in the vertical orientation. Speaking of distractions, the screen has a punch-hole on the top-left side for the phone’s front camera. The dimensions are similar as well as the weight. At 173 grams, the phone is comfortable to use for prolonged periods. Though the phone’s user interface is optimized to not let the cut-out area cause any distraction, it comes in the way of on-screen content, especially if the content has bright colors.
Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 800U system-on-chip, paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB on-board storage, the phone is a big improvement with regard to performance when compared with its predecessor and some peers. Animations, especially for navigating the system UI, almost always felt smooth except for the occasional hitch. It handles every task with ease. It works fine as a daily driver for most tasks and handles processor- and graphic-intensive jobs well. There are no thermal issues here and the graphics-intensive gaming performance is as good as you get on any other mid-range smartphone like Infinix Hot 9.
Rounding up the swift performance is the 5G network capability, something that may not mean anything until the supported network services roll out in the country. On the bright side, the 5G connectivity makes the OPPO F19 Pro future-proof. It is only a 60Hz display, so the animations weren’t as smooth as those you would find with a 90Hz screen. It certainly wasn’t a deal-breaker, but it is something to keep in mind when purchasing this smartphone. There were no issues with day-to-day usage and the OS overall felt quite smooth. During long gaming sessions, the thermals stayed under control and the phone did only get slightly warm but never uncomfortably hot. Apps like Instagram, Facebook, etc. opened quickly, and they stayed in the RAM, which is no surprise considering that there are 8GB available.
Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1
The OPPO F19 Pro ships with Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 on top. As I mentioned in my OPPO F19 Pro review, ColorOS 11 feels fast and fluid to use. The UI is quite responsive and there are tons of customization options that can help make the device feel more personal. You also get some attractive wallpapers, Always-on Display options, various themes to choose from, among other stuff. ColorOS 11 does bring a bunch of pre-loaded apps, some of which can be uninstalled.
The smartphone feels faster and more fluid when it comes to opening apps and scrolling through the UI. I was able to switch between basic apps without any issues. Unfortunately, the phone does not come with a 90Hz or 120Hz refresh rate, so you won’t find that buttery-smooth scrolling experience that the likes of the OnePlus Nord can offer.
With all this considered, for most people, I believe the Oppo F19 Pro 5g Price in Pakistan, Rs. 46,999 is a very good choice. The OPPO F19 Pro looks a lot like the F19 Pro+ in many ways, but the hardware has been upgraded, giving you a more capable chipset, support for faster charging, among other things. However, the OPPO F19 Pro still faces stiff competition in this segment. So, how well does the phone really perform?
